Clean your kitchen with dishwashing detergent

You’ve done the dishes, and they’re drying on the dish rack next to the sink. You’ve finished everything. Or have you? There are many corners in your kitchen that could use a little attention to remove dirt, food residues, and grease splatters that have accumulated during daily use and your last cooking session. Luckily, you don’t need a variety of specialized cleaners for each area of your kitchen - Pril dishwashing detergent is an excellent cleaner for your entire kitchen!

Cleaner for the kitchen countertop: water with dishwashing detergent.

Add a few drops of dishwashing detergent to a bowl of warm water. Soak a sponge in the solution so it absorbs the water and detergent, then wring it out so it no longer drips. Wipe the countertop with the soft side of the sponge until it is clean and shiny again.

This solution works very well on most countertops, especially those prone to streaks. Streaks form due to grease on the countertop surface. Most kitchen cleaners can disinfect countertops, but only dishwashing detergent dissolves the oils and fats that are also removed during everyday dishwashing of dishes, pots, and pans. This makes it an ideal solution for cleaning countertops and cooktops with ceramic or glass surfaces.

Clean kitchen cabinets

Kitchen cabinets are just as prone to dirt, grease, and food residues as countertops. But whether it’s a forgotten melted chocolate bar or grease splatters from the last roasted chicken, Pril dishwashing detergent takes care of your cabinets.

First, remove as much of the dry, soft, or sticky residue as possible with a paper towel. Then apply some of the countertop cleaner to the cabinets, either from a spray bottle or from the bowl with the dish soap and water mixture. Use a soft sponge to wash the dirt off the cabinets, and then quickly dry them with a paper towel to prevent streaks.

How to unclog the drain

The caustic chemicals found in many liquid drain cleaners can damage your fixtures and pipes. Calling a plumber to clear the drain is a last resort—and an expensive one. Instead, many kitchen sink clogs, often caused by grease, can be easily cleared with dishwashing detergent and water.

To do this, pour a generous amount of Pril dishwashing detergent into the clogged drain. Fill a kettle with water and bring it to a boil. Wait a few minutes to allow the detergent to flow down the drain and coat the clog, then carefully pour the boiling water into the drain so it mixes with the detergent and dissolves and flushes away the grease in the pipes.

How to clean stainless steel appliances

Pril dishwashing detergent is excellent for cleaning household appliances, especially those with stainless steel surfaces. Follow these steps:

  1. Put a few drops of Pril dishwashing detergent on a damp, soft sponge.

  2. Observe the direction of the stainless steel grain. If it’s not clearly visible, try to feel the grain with your fingers.

  3. Wipe the appliance from top to bottom following the direction of the grain.

  4. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.

  5. Finally, quickly dry the surface with a clean towel to prevent water spots.

Clean the kitchen sink with dishwashing detergent

You’ve just washed a pile of dirty dishes, and the drained water is no longer crystal clear. Your sink needs cleaning, even if it doesn’t necessarily look like it.

First, rinse any remaining food residues from the sides of the sink into a drain strainer and dispose of them. Then, draw a circle around the drain with Pril; this amount should be just enough to clean the sink. Using a clean, soft sponge, wash the bottom and sides of the sink in circular motions. Rinse it from the side, if possible, with a pull-out spray or hose. You can also pour a cup of water over it to rinse.

Want a truly clean kitchen? Use Pril dishwashing detergent as a versatile kitchen cleaner! It not only keeps your dishes spotless but also works on countertops, cabinets, drains, and all your household appliances.
